Endogenous sample factors

Is the result still accurate beyond the interpretation time?

The result will be inaccurate, which should be interpreted at the time specified in the instructions. If, by the time interpreted, the result is negative, and after the time interpreted, the light lines occur, which may be caused by the continuous release of colored marker. However, such results are invalid.

What are the precautions when using the samples and products stored in the refrigerator?

For the refrigerated samples, reagents and buffer solutions, the refrigerated testing reagents and buffer solutions in intact packaging should be placed in the air for temperature recovery before testing, and the refrigerated or frozen samples should also be subject to the temperature recovery before testing. In case the testing is made before equilibrium with room temperature, the water in the air will condense on the reagent which has not been recovered for temperature, causing the products to get damp, which may affect the test results. In case the refrigerator is at high humidity, it is not recommended to store the unpacked canned products in such refrigerator.

The samples move at a particularly slow speed or there is no sample movement

The amount of sample injected or dilution added to whole blood is insufficient: retest.

Damaged packaging bag or expired reagent: retest.

No temperature recovery after retrieveal from the cold environment: retest.

Red vertical line is found within the reaction window

It may happen when the sample flows on the membrane: This situation will not affect the test results, but it should be guaranteed that the results will be read within the specified time when the background is clear.

It may be due to the possible use of hemolytic sample: retest with fresh samples

No C line is found upon the specific time for result reading?

Excessive amount of samples injected, causing improper flowing of sample: add the sample dropwise to the required amount according to the requirements of the instructions.

The sample does not flow, and there is problem with the reagent: contact the supplier.

Whole blood testing with serum and plasma reagents: test with corresponding samples

False positive result generated after testing

Serum/plasma samples contain special interfering substance(s): confirm the test results with additional methods.

Results are read beyond the specified time: do not read the test result beyond the reading time set out in the instructions.

False negative result generated after testing

Concentration of the sample to be tested in the samples is lower than the testing threshold: confirm with other testing methods.

Subtype contained in the sample is relatively special or the virus mutation ability is strong: confirm whether it is positive for the patient with other testing methods.

The very light lines are determined to be negative by any customer: carefully read the instructions, and make judgment according to the specified interpretation methods.

Results are determined in advance before the specified time: carefully read the instructions, and make judgment according to the specified interpretation methods.
